It was a harrowing journey from Cleveland to Toronto - I had to use a train all by myself. See the proof above. Note I am not in the photo for fear of being spotted as a tourist and being mugged or beaten. Taking this was risky enough but I covered the shutter sound (stupid Blackberry, can't turn it off). Oh Blackberry - I cannot stay mad at you.

I googled "australian cappuccino dude" and my blog was in the first page of results. That is cool.

I feel different

I realised today I am falling into the American way of life - I may lose my Australian identity. It starts small with beginning to accept the coffee as normal, and then suddenly, BAM, you are automatically walking on the right hand side of the sidewalk. Oh shit, I just said sidewalk. Soon I will be calling cell phones mobile phones. What am I saying, they are mobile phones.

This is more dire than I thought. I am going to have to reacquaint myself with my culture. So it will be a night of more swearing, more drinking and Australian music.

Here is a video I took of the Cavs player introductions when they met the Chicago Bulls at the game I went to on 5 November. It is typical of the match which is an event from beginning to end.

The Cavs are on fire. We taught Utah who's the boss. And it was a great night drinking Canadian beer. The yanks know how to do sport.

We are off tonight to the Brazilian restaurant, Brassa. There is a salad bar which includes seafood, and waiters walk around with meat which you ask for Yum Cha style. This topped off with South American drinks - can't wait.
